My First Art Show

I was so pleased to have my very first art show in the Mary Cooper Gallery at the Flatland Artists Studios September 17 to September 30, 2019. Along with my wife Sue and daughters we hosted a small reception for a few friends and fellow artists. The reception was a real blast. I received a lot of encouraging feedback from the attendees and managed to sell some paintings, including my first online sale to a family friend in New York. My work really surprised a few of my friends as they had no idea that I paint. I have to tell you it was a lot of work curating and hanging the paintings and organizing the opening reception. The mechanics of pulling all this together would make for a future blog post.
